Arshad Akhtar Husain Sayed is an award winning Writer, Director & Editor who has been directing Commercials for Fashion, Jewellery, Beauty brands since 2014. Arshad has also directed Travel, Editorial, Corporate video content. He has worked exclusively for brands like GQ India, Vogue India, Mercedes, Citroen, KOOVS, H&M, Lakme, ASICS, FILA, Blackberrys, Arrow, Van Heusen, Satya Paul, Pizza Express, Femina Flaunt, Kerastase, Global Desi, Swarovski, Westside, Peter England to name a few. Arshad has also worked on Interior & Architecture videos for clients such as Narang Realty, Elle Decor and Beautiful Homes by Asian Paints.

Arshad directed a Travel & Lifestyle series for the Singapore Tourism Board in 2015, 2016 & 2017 for GQ India and Femina. The campaign featuring Indian comic Vir Das went on to win the “Singapore Tourism Awards (2015) for Best Singapore experience story (Digital).

 Arshad has also produced and directed award winning short films like:

 “Painkiller” which was selected at film festivals such as “14th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival - New Delhi (2024)”, “Lift-Off First-Time Filmmaker Sessions (2023)”, “MEDITERRANEO FESTIVAL CORTO XIV Edizione (2023)” and “New York Lift-Off Film Festival (2023)”, “Pune Short Film Festival (2023)”, “Shortfundly Annual Film Festival sfaff (2023)” and ”Sydney Lift-Off Film Festival (2023)”.

 “Qatisa” which went on to win at prestigious film festivals such as “Vesuvius International Film Festival (2020)”, “Calcutta International Cult Film Festival (2020)”, “Cult Critics Movie Awards (2020)” and “Tagore International Film Festival(2020)”, “World Film Carnival Singapore (2020)”.

 “Bite” which went on to win at prestigious film festivals such as “Horror Bowl Movie Awards (2022)”, “Hollywood Blood Horror Festival (2021)” and was a Semi Finalist at “The Thing in the Basement  (2021)”.

“Move like a Dune” for Indian Avant - Garde designer Gaurav Gupta was selected at the prestigious “International Short Film Festival Parachute Light Zero Paris (2016)” and “Fashion Film Festival Chicago (2016)”.

“Chaos” is showcasing on Cineshorts Premiere on YouTube and various OTT platforms.
